Abstract The paper describes the choice of a technical solution for implementation fault-tolerant real-time control system under external control. main idea method is to introduce an block that includes watchdog and backup decision-making algorithm. This was supposed be executed on FPGA-based block. CPU. proposes variant creating entire single FPGA. It implements both processor cores operation Various variants FPGA are considered. studies suitable projects concluded LEON series problem building system, since they already have solutions improve fault tolerance. proposed approach with can fully implemented has some advantages over separate blocks.
